The Story

Epic Cols is a passion project for rider and photographer Daniel Hughes. Hughes is a Sony Photographic ambassador who works with some of the largest and most renowned outdoor brands in the world. His work can be seen in galleries, magazines, online publications and on his clients' channels.  
He says, " Epic Cols is not just about cycling, but about sharing incredible places just to be. It excites me to be able to share them. "

A stunning climb that starts in the town of Beaufort. The weather and light changing every minute as a storm brew overhead the Col. A rainbow clearly visible by the human eye, but the second not. A favourite capture and a timely one too. Minutes later the sky black with thunder and the rainbows gone.
